I know that my Heavenly Father lives and guides my life. I have had many turning points in my life, and I have made many decisions based on promptings that are the opposite of what I would have decided on my own. Some decisions have been made for me (things that didn't work out) because God knew I wouldn't go down the path I needed to be on. I have watched God help me shape my life over the past several years, and today I am in an infinitely better place than I ever imagined I'd be. I met some of my best friends and grew spiritually, emotionally, and professionally through a program I never wanted to work for. I am now in my dream job, which I would never have known I wanted nor been qualified for without that program which I quickly fell in love with. I am engaged to the best person I know. I am in grad school in a program that I wouldn't have picked without guidance but that fits me perfectly. I am happy and progressing and surrounded by loving, supportive people. There are many specific decisions that I can pinpoint that would have led me in other directions had I gotten what I wanted at the time. I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who knows better than I do and gently guides me to a more full, joyful life. I still face difficult moments and days, but through my Savior I am able to find peace and healing. If you are looking for peace and guidance, turn to Him. He is waiting to help you!
