Limitless Second Chances, Repeated Redemptions, Eternal Patience

I feel blessed to know a lot about the Savior, and his wonderful nature. But I think one of the most precious truths is to know that Jesus Christ takes us for who we are-- sins, shortcomings, imperfections and all. Elder Dale G. Renlund said it best when he said "The Savior loves to restore what you cannot restore; He loves to heal wounds you cannot heal; He loves to fix what has been irreparably broken; He compensates for any unfairness inflicted on you; and He loves to permanently mend even shattered hearts." I echo and testify this amazing truth! Through Him, not only can we overcome and be made whole, but we can become more than we ever could on our own. We are humbler, stronger, kinder through His Atoning Grace! We develop charity, the pure love of Christ (which he extends so freely!!). You don't need to be perfect to qualify for these blessings, either. The Lord only asks that you try. That's it. To us, he extends limitless 'second' chances, repeated redemptions, eternal patience. I don't know everything, but I do know this: He makes up the difference. He always does, all because He loves you and I enough to die for us. So don't be too hard on yourself. The same God who created the Heavens and the Earth created YOU, He knows and loves YOU unconditionally. So keep learning. Keep growing. Keep trying. God has great things in store for you.
